Lima asosiasi modal ventura dan investasi swasta terbesar di Asia Tenggara secara resmi meluncurkan Maturation Map, sebuah panduan tata kelola regional untuk meningkatkan standar transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam ekosistem startup. Inisiatif ini merupakan respons terhadap meningkatnya kasus fraud dan kesalahan pengelolaan keuangan yang merusak kepercayaan investor di kawasan. MDI Ventures, sebagai perwakilan dari Indonesia melalui keanggotaan aktif di Amvesindo, turut menjadi kontributor (co-author) dalam penyusunan laporan ini.

Dipimpin oleh Singapore Venture & Private Capital Association (SVCA) bersama Amvesindo (Indonesia), TVCA (Thailand), VPCA (Vietnam), dan MVCA (Malaysia), Maturation Map menyajikan rekomendasi praktis yang ditujukan bagi pendiri startup, investor, konsultan, dan regulator. Rekomendasi ini disusun bertahap sesuai kematangan perusahaan, mulai dari startup awal hingga yang bersiap IPO. Peluncuran ini juga menjadi tanggapan nyata atas berbagai skandal tata kelola yang melibatkan startup Indonesia, termasuk salah satunya eFishery. Meskipun kasus-kasus ini hanya mewakili minoritas ekosistem, dampaknya telah mengguncang kepercayaan terhadap ekosistem startup regional.

Sebagai Corporate Venture Capital, MDI Ventures terus berkomitmen terus berinvestasi dengan proses seleksi yang ketat dan terstruktur, sesuai dengan standard operasi yang telah dibuat oleh PwC, dan di audit oleh Telkom. Setiap keputusan investasi di MDI dilakukan secara independen oleh tim internal, berdasarkan evaluasi menyeluruh yang mencakup proses due diligence, penilaian oleh komite investasi, serta pemantauan pasca-investasi. Seluruh proses ini dijalankan secara profesional dan berada di bawah pengawasan PT Multimedia Nusantara (TelkomMetra) selaku perusahaan induk dan pemegang saham MDI.

MDI juga terus berperan sebagai pemegang saham yang aktif, bukan hanya dalam menciptakan nilai tambah dengan sinergi antara startup dan BUMN, tapi juga dengan memberikan pengawalan yang ketat tapi disesuaikan dengan kondisi startup seperti yang direkomendasikan Maturity Map ini.

MDI Ventures Perkuat Tata Kelola Investasi dan Dorong Standar Baru Bersama Komunitas VC Asia Tenggara

Saison Capital, lengan investasi ventura dari perusahaan keuangan Jepang Credit Saison, bersama BRI Ventures, lengan investasi dari Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), dan Coinvestasi, perusahaan media yang berfokus pada blockchain, secara resmi meluncurkan Tokenize Indonesia – sebuah program akselerator untuk mencari, mendanai, dan mendukung startup Real-World Asset (RWA) yang bergerak di bidang blockchain dan tokenisasi aset untuk berekspansi dan mengimplementasikan solusi mereka di Indonesia.

Tokenize Indonesia akan berlangsung dari April hingga Agustus 2025. Startup terpilih akan menjalankan Proof of Concept (POC) dengan berbagai perusahaan ternama di Indonesia, termasuk BRI Ventures dan MDI Ventures, anak perusahaan Telkom Indonesia. Program ini akan ditutup pada Agustus dengan sesi demo day yang diselenggarakan dalam Coinfest Asia, festival crypto terbesar di Asia, pada 21–22 Agustus di Bali.

Pengumuman peluncuran Tokenize Indonesia disampaikan dalam acara ONCHAIN 2025 – konferensi tahunan yang diprakarsai oleh Saison Capital, D3 Labs, Helix, dan Emurgo – yang mempertemukan investor, founder, dan pemimpin industri RWA dari sektor keuangan tradisional maupun fintech. Tahun ini, acara tersebut dihadiri oleh lebih dari 500 peserta di Bangkok.
