Amartha’s unwavering commitment to empowering grassroots communities remains steadfast, even amid global economic headwinds and geopolitical uncertainties. In a country with approximately 64.2 million micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), financial inclusion continues to be a major chal- lenge—especially for those in rural areas. As a digital financial services platform, Amartha sees this challenge as an opportunity. We are dedicated to uplifting MSMEs, women entrepreneurs, and village communities by enabling meaningful economic growth. In 2024 alone, over 110,000 new jobs were created in rural areas—many resulting from women entrepreneurs hiring their first employees. Despite the broader economic slowdown, 76% of our custom- ers reported increased incomes compared to the previous year, thanks to the working capital they received through our services. To stay aligned with the evolving needs of our customers, we introduced AmarthaFin, a super app designed to help our communities transition into a more connected digital society. This platform empow- ers grassroots users while linking them to a broader digital ecosystem, enhancing their economic partici- pation and resilience. This report reaffirms our commitment to building a more inclusive and prosperous Indonesia.
